Ingredients
Dough
- 300 grams of Flour / All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon of Salt
- 1 teaspoon of Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of Baking powder
- 3,5 grams of Yeast
- 2 tablespoons of Vegan yogurt
- 125 ml of Almond milk
Vegan garlic butter
- 1 dollop of Vegan butter
- 4 cloves of Garlic
- 1 handful of chopped Coriander
Directions
Steps
1 Done | Start by heating up the plant milk of your choice. Heat through but don't boil! |
2 Done | While the dough is rising, heat some vegan butter in a small pan. |
3 Done | When the dough is doubled in size, knead into a sausage-like shape. |
4 Done | Heat a pan on medium heat and put the rolled out dough in the pan. |
5 Done | When you take the naan out of the pan, brush on the garlic butter. |

Looks AMAZING! I’m always so sad when I can’t eat the garlic naan at Indian restaurants. SO excited to try your vegan version!

Baking powder? How much???
I have updated the recipe, it seems like I forgot to add the baking powder!
I used 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder 🙂
