The potatoes
- 6 Potatoes
- Oil to fry in
- A pinch of Salt
The sauce
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 2 teaspoons of Smoked paprika
- 3 teaspoons of Chili powder
- 140 grams of Tomato paste
- 400 grams of Diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoons of Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of Sugar
- 1 teaspoon of Salt

Steps
1 Done | Mice en placeBoil a large pot of water. |
2 Done | The potatoesParboil the sliced potatoes until they are fork tender. This will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes. |
3 Done | The sauceSauté the onion and garlic in a saucepan with oil. |
4 Done | If you have a deep fryer, use that! If you don't, use a large pan like a Dutch oven. |
5 Done | Once the oil is hot, deep fry the potatoes for around 5 to 8 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Alternatively if you don't want to use oil or if you don't want to fry, bake the potatoes in the oven by using this technique: My Oil free crispy oven baked potato wedges.
