500 gram Flour / All-Purpose Flour

Pizza sauce

2 teaspoons Onion powder
2 teaspoons Garlic powder
2 teaspoons Dried Italian herbs

Preparations

Pre heat the oven to 220°C/425°F

The dough befrore rising

Mix the warm water and the sachet of yeast together and let that sit while you measure out the flour.
Add the flour and the salt to a large mixing bowl and mix together.
Add the water+yeast mixture to the flour and mix together with a spoon before kneading with your hands. Once there's no more water you can start kneading.
If the dough is too sticky you can add more flour.
Once a nice dough ball has formed, tip the dough out on a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes or until the dough is elastic. When you press your finger in the dough the indentation should rise back up again.
Flour the bowl from before and plase the dough ball in there. Sprinkle some more dough on top and cover with a clean towel and let it rise for 24 hours.

The sauce

Mix all of the sauce ingretients together in a bowl and set aside for later.

The "spider bodies"

Cut the olives in half, lenghtwise. Leave one half as it is and cut the other half into tiny strips. Those will be the "legs". Repeat with the rest of the olives

The dough after rising

After 24 hours your dough should have doubled in size.
Take it out of the bowl and knead into a ball again on a floured surface.
Spinkle generously with flour and roll out into a large rectangle.
Use a cookie cutter in the shape of a pumpkin or just a regular one (or a glass).
Any excess dough can be kneaded into a ball and rolled out again until there's no more dough left.

Place the dough bites on a oven tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Put a good amount of sauce on each dough bite and form the spiders with the olives. I could only fit 3 legs on each side, but you can add as much or as little as you want!

Bake in the pre heated oven for 8 minutes or until the crust is starting to brown. Check regularly as they will bake pretty fast depending on the oven you use!
