Ingredients
Sauce for the tofu
- 100 ml Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vegan sambal
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 5cm piece finely chopped Ginger
- 4 finely chopped Garlic cloves
Toppings
- 1/4 of a Cucumber
- 2 small Carrot
- 1 Nori sheet
- Sesame seeds
Wasabi mayo
- 2 tablespoons Vegan mayo
- 1 teaspoon Wasabi
Tofu ingredients
- 1 block Tofu
- 2 tablespoons Corn starch
- A pinch of Salt
Sushi rice ingredients
- 300 grams Sushi rice
- Black sesame seeds
- A splash Sushi vinegar
- As much as the rice Water

Steps
1 Done | PreparationsStart by pressing the block of tofu, |
2 Done | The toppingsDice the cucumber and shred the carrot. |
3 Done | The tofu part 1Cut the tofu into cubes. In a large bowl, mix the corn starch and a pinch of salt together. |
4 Done | The sushi riceOnce the sushi rice is cooked, add the sushi vinegar and some black sesame seeds. Let this sit while you make the rest. |
5 Done | The tofu part 2In a pan, add the sauce you made for the tofu on medium high heat. Mix everything until the sauce thickens up. Then add the tofu and mix until every piece of tofu is coated in the sauce and then keep mixing until the sauce has fully thickened up. |
6 Done | The servingAdd some pof the sushi rice to a bowl and then add a bit of every topping. Finally add a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top of the tofu. |
